Okay so I went to the GP because I kept not making it to the toilet and was referred to the GI consultant. We had a discussion and both agreed I may have been injured while having my daughter but she wanted to do a colonoscopy to cover all bases. So I went for my colonoscopy, and all was well until a nurse said to the person doing the scope *gasp* where's that? And he replied the terminal ileum. Afterwards I was gone a printed report and told I will have to wait for my consultant. The report says; multiple ulcers, abnormal reddening and inflammation in the terminal ileum plus an anal abnormality. It's been a month and I haven't even got an appointment despite calling the secretary twice she just says she's very behind. When you expect the test will be clear them are given a report like that with no sign of follow up its scary!

I don't have any advice but I wanted to give you a hug.
Are you still having the same issue that warranted the original appointment? If so, talk to your GP on how to proceed.
Good luck.
