Colonoscopy tomorrow

Well as of today I don't think I could ever drink Golytly ever again, that stuff is terrible. But I managed to do it. My whole body hurts and my butt is very sore. Its been a few hours since I finished the prep, still going to the bathroom. And I feel panicky even though everything is clear that I'm not going to be cleaned out enough for the doctors to see anything. Am I the only one with this worry?

Hello there - trust me, you are fine. I have been through tons of colonoscopys before. Congratulations, the hard part is over. Tomorrow you will breeze through it.

If you are seeing clear, so will they. Do not cheat and eat anything or you will have to start all over. I do worry about it every time I have one done to be honest, but the doctor always tell me the prep was good.

Please update us tommorrow after it is over and you are relieved.

Glad to know the hard part is over, I don't think I ever want to do that again. But this is my first colonoscopy and I hope they find out what is wrong with me.

I say that all the time, and i just keep doing it. I now mix it with my sweet tea, did you mix yours?

So I did both the endoscopy and the colonscopy today, the doctor didn't think he saw signs of anything abnormal, and that I had a very weak sphrincter muscles. But would know more about the biopsies in 4 weeks at my next appointment. I was really hoping for more of a diagnosis I guess. I've kept food diaries for the last 5 years and there isn't any one food that makes me feel better or worse. So guess I will sit tight for the next dr app and continue wearing kids xtra large pullups for those oh so fun accidents. They don't make depends that are small enough to fit me. And now I'm still tired so thinking of crawling back into bed again.
