concerned !!

im a little concerned been 32 days since my surgery and most of my 14 inch scar has healed lovely except about an inch at the top wich is wider then the rest ( gross to talk about so sorry in advance) the scab recently fell off and left dry skin after moisturising and can now see it properly it doesnt look right and not healing properly i think its infected as looks like yellow liquid under the scar it does hurt well its the only bit of my scar that hurts still.
going to phone my doctors in the morning and hopefully get an appointment right away but fingers crossed i do . also i feel fine im not feverish or feeling sick in any way other then on a go slow after surgery hopefully im just being a drama queen

there is no such thing as a drama queen when it comes to your health.

deffo see the doctor, after all i am sure he wouldnt mind if there is nothing to worry about, there again if there is a slight infection a quick coarse of antibiotics will nip it in the bud.

normally if a infection is present there is a lump under the skin - this will also dissapear as the infection is killed off.

You may want to put some antibiotic ointment on hte scar, which will keep it moist and also clean; until you see your doc. Good luck!

hi and thank you i do have an infection got a course of antibiotics hopefully it clears it up ( fingers crossed ) there is a lump under the skin got to go back for check up when tablets finished
