I am a fairly active person, or I was until this most recent bout of illness.
I would go to taekwondo or mma 3 times a week, I sparred and usually competed in tournaments once a year. I also am into the Spartan races, and am signed up for two in May and June and hoping so hard I will be well enough to do them by then.

The last two weeks have really taken a toll on me, and mentally it's worse than anything else. Any advice?

Have you done labs recently? Maybe blood tests could narrow down possible issues.

Mentally stressing out over it makes things worse, but I know it's easier said than done not to stress out. meditation or relaxation yoga might help you keep some of the momentum for the time being.

I was super active and fit until a hip injury at the end of last summer. I kept trying to do small upper body exercises to keep the muscle in place but it slowly went to the wayside. Now I need to just get up and go, it is HORRIBLE when you know you are losing all the muscle tone you worked so hard for.

I researched wheelchair exercises for myself but never actually did them. :/

I'm going to celebrate a minor success - I tried a usual class that I went to before this last attack, no go. I had to leave half an hour in. BUT Today I went for their "spin-sanity" class and did the whole thing!!
