We have a high deductible insurance plan, so meds are usually expensive. Last year I was getting my Asacol HD from Costco for $350(includes $50 discount card). I just went to get it refilled and it's $475 with the discount card. The pharmacist told me it's obamacare and many meds have gone up. I think it's just an excuse for pharmaceutical companies to take advantage of people with this change.
My first question is has anyone from the US purchased your meds from Canada? If so, what is the process? Is there any news on a generic?
Financially we make too much to qualify for any assistance. I'm just pissed this has jumped up so much.
I was just dx last year and can't believe these drugs cost so much people can't afford to take them. It's been an eye opening experience.
