Cramping

I've been having cramping in my stomach tonight. Worst I've had since I've been diagnosed on 4 July 2014. How bad should it be before I see a doctor? Maybe I'm just having a bad day.

Current meds - 25mg steroids, 75mg Imuran

I am cramping as we'll extremely bad. Had to leave work today and won't go back till I'm able to function. I have a doctors apmtnt tomorrow, otherwise I would have gone to the er today. If there's lots of blood and bad cramps you shouldn't take risks. Suck it up and get help. Good luck.

I'm also having awful cramping. You should give your doc a call tomorrow and let them know. Try also eating only liquids like soup and smoothies for a few days and that might help. You'll know if it gets bad enough to go to the ER. I went once because the pain was so bad that the cramps made my scream out in pain at the top of my lungs. Turned out to be an obstruction. Other things that can help cramping: peppermint tea or capsules and valerian capsules.

Hi, Sorry to hear that. I've improved since that night. Only mild discomfort.

No blood when I had the cramps. I will definitely look out for that in future.

Hope you improve soon. I've been on Imuran for 8 weeks with little or no improvement. After week one I went for 8 toilet stops to 3 and it has remained the same with some stomach pains everyday. :-(

It was just one night. I've be reasonable since then.

No decision had been made on that yet. I was on 30 and now 25. Based on my cramps, it won't be for a few weeks.

I'm now on 20 steroids and 75 Imuran. Diagnosed 3 months ago. I'm going the toilet a lot less. From 8 to 3. My concern is I have to stll go suddenly and often in panic looking for a toliet. Is this basically what I have to accept for the rest of my life? I can't plan to go anywhere different. 14 years old - frustrated and sad.

I'm still cramping as well and can't make any plans. I can't eat, sleep, or work effectively. They up my pred to 40 and it still seems like its barely working aside from reducing the blood a little. I start humara this week.
