Hello All,
I have been on Humira now for about 6 weeks.
After the loading doses I noticed I had no immediate side effects (minus a small headache)
Consistently now though, it seems (literally every time) EXACTLY 1 week after my injections I awake to some joint with this same exact achy/sore pain. I can't explain the feeling but it HURTS! And is something totally new and unusual for me. Last time it was my hip/lower back and right knee.
This morning, however (again exactly 1 week after my last injection), I woke up out of a dead sleep @ 6am with THE WORST pain I have ever felt in BOTH of my knees!!!! I got up to go to the bathroom and my knees nearly buckled underneath me, I can't explain the pain. I was in tears. It was the same pain I have been experiencing, only this time it was much more intense. It was just so bizarre. I took 2 Aleve and a Norco for the pain to go away because it hurt even while laying or sitting.
I'm hoping once the pain meds wear off this afternoon that the joint pain won't come back... and it usually doesn't- which I find so puzzling.
But has anyone else experienced this? It's so bizarre because the joint pain is always A) Exactly 1 week following my injections and B) usually wakes me up in the morning but goes away after I take something for it or get up and go about my day, and doesn't bother me again until a week after my next injection
I will definitely bring this up to my Doctor- But do you all think this is something that will progress into something worse? Or something to be pretty concerned about? It's just so weird!
Thanks in advance for all replies!
