Greetings everyone

I found these following alternative treatments GREATLY relieved me and (put me in remission) from my mild crohn's disease:

herbal:
1- Olive leaf
2- Anisa seeds
3- Ginger roots
4- Cumin seeds
5- Sage leaf <--- this one is really good
6- Lemon balm

Pills:
10,000 I.U vitamin D3 pills from Solgar (once a day for 5 consecutive days in a week, 2 days without in a week)

Chinese medicine:
Acupuncture (needles) + Moxibustion (mugwort plant which is burned for smoke & heat, it makes you have lots of lucid dreams)

Diet:
I eat normally :) brown rice + little meat + lots of vegs + fruits + legumes
I do not consume milk or milk derived associated products

Cheers ^^

(What worked for me might not work for you, but maybe if you give it all a try you might feel better eventually)

Most people on this forum need much stronger medicine than a few herbs unfortunately. Have you actually been formally diagnosed with Crohns via colonoscopy etc?

Thanks for sharing your info. I used DMSO in the past to pull me out of flares. Some thought that was insane but quess what... works for me!

Praying you stay healthy!

It's highly unlikely you are cured, and your symptoms are likely to come back when returning to a different diet and regimen. And you also said you have mild crohn's, so you probably could get good results by a simple diet change, even though this may not apply to more severe crohn's patients I'm so happy for you!! Just be careful thinking that you beat this all in one punch, believing that could be detrimental because it may not be true.

I am glad to hear you have reached remission, as others have said there is no cure at this time. The original post has been edited to reflect the change in terminology.
