Hello, my primary care physician has brought up the idea of accupuncture treatments for crohn's. am wondering if anyone has had any personal experience with this.

Thanks!

I don't know very much about accupuncture and Crohn's, but I believe Nogutsnoglory has recently done some research on it so I am going to tag him in this post.

I don't know about any research as it pertains to crohn's but there is a lot of evidence that it helps with pain management. I personally have only done acupressure on myself and definitely do see the benefits. I certainly thinking accupuncture as an adjunct to conceptual therapy is a great idea.

Thank you both.
My pcp's really into that kind of stuff and I remember my mother going for thyroid issues and liking it. I might consider trying it out!
