crohns and heart problems?

Has anyone had any problems with their pulse being in the 100s and trouble breathing?My doctor checked my thyroid which was fine and did an ekg which was fine.I'm starting to wonder if it's a problem related to the crohns or a side effect from my entocort.I read that a common side effect of corticosteroids is heart failure.Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm on Entocort and sometimes I have trouble breathing like I'll be talking and I'll get winded. Weird.

I actually went in to my dr to see why my pulse was racing, they checked my thyroid and did some bloodwork and the white blood count came back elevated so they dug deeper and found the Crohn's disease. I had been to 11 other dr's to find out what was wrong with my stomach and didn't find out, then go for a racing pulse and find out about my stomach. Come to think of it, I never did find out about the racing pulse, and it's been 5 yrs. Not sure if it's all related but Hmmm, lol.

Makes perfect sense if your breathing heavily, rapidly, even if your dehydrated, all of these things would affect it, there fore very easy to say its from the crohns.

I have always had a racing pulse but I take asthma meds too which can elevate your pulse. Lately though I have felt my heart skipping beats. Do you ever feel that? Maybe I should tell the doc about that, do you think?

I remember having heart skipping beats, and being randomly short of breath, but I wasn't taking medication either. Seems like a side effect of Crohns
