I was wondering if anyone else notice these symptoms when it's humid. I notice I get heart palpitations as well as feeling like I can't breathe and at times I'll get a sharp pain in my chest. As well as Lose my appetite. Sometimes I get the typical crohns symtoms but not always mostly just as I mentioned above.I had my heart checked about a year ago and no heart problems at all.

Is this associated with Crohns or could be something else?

It could be related to dehydration if you're not drinking enough in the hot humid weather.

I need to drink lots and keep the AC on in this weather or I feel lousy.

I can feel like that if I get overheated. I am not sure if its related to Crohn's in any way. But, I will have to say I only remember it happening after being diagnosed. In general I get exhausted much faster than pre-diagnosis.

Also, when flaring my pulse races...regardless of outside temp. Are you in a flare?

Heat and humidity together are awful to my guts - I end up with terrible gut cramps and trips to the bathroom. I don't get palpitations nor any other symptoms though, it all seems to be gut symptoms for me. I hope you can figure it out!

Thanks for all the replys. No I'm not in a flare right now. I was doing a little research and I think dehydration is correct. However, I also read that dehydration is very common with those with crohns. So just going to keep as hydrated as possible. But one can only drink so much water.
