Crohns and pregnancy.. any advice would b great

Hi, today i found out i am pregnant its only early days, i have an appointment to see my gp 7th jan but while im waitin for that i would b greatful with any advice anyone has on anythin. thanks xx

Hi Nicola,is this your first baby with having Crohn'sdisease? Also are you in remission and what drugs are u on if any? I also have Crohn'sdiseaze n have 4 kids of my own.....any Dvice you need I will help in whatever way I can gun! Nice to find somebody else on bete from my way too! X

hi becky, i ended up havin a miscarriage. i already have 2 girls but that would of been my first since bein diagnosed with crohns.. im on azathrioprine, docusate, buscopan, laxido, paracetamol and infliximab infusions which they stopped at xmas due to abscesses, i havent been told im in remission but i feel my crohns is under control apart from the perianal abscesses..im in the middle of changin consultants so wen i get to see my new one im gonna see about tryin to get pregnant again and see wot they say.. xx
