Just wondering if with Crohns we are able to use worming tablets.

I saw an ad saying you need to worm yourself regularly and I do my son's regularly but I've always been to scared to take them myself with my crohns.

Just wondering if anyone does/have and what they used :)

Thanks, gawd I ask silly questions LOL

With all of the talk of helminthic therapy, maybe it's better if we don't fight the guys :p
In all seriousness though, worms are really unusual here in Australia, I don't see any point in worming unless showing symptoms of an infestation.

Yeah, I was thinking, if there's talk of us actually taking worms to help us, why would we get rid of any? lol

Thanks Nicci :)

In the "developed" world worms are very rare, in general. Even if you visited places where they are common chances are you didn't pick any up. The little suckers are harder to get then you'd think.
Each parasite is different and need there own treatment. If your worried ask your doc to do a stool screening.
