Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

A while ago, whilst waiting for an appointment to see my surgeon I saw a guy with a purple rubber bracelet on which said; Fight Crohn's. Now having had a gander around the internet I can't find it anywhere, and really beginning to kick myself for not asking him where he got it from. Having seen a few across the net, I'm really set on this one.. Does anyone have any ideas, and if not, what's a better one to get?

I think I've seen them before, but can't remember where. I'll see if I can turn it up here in a bit.

But while we're on this subject... due to having Crohn's as a child, I'm abnormally tiny, especially my wrists. I can't wear those rubber bracelets - they fall right off. Anyone know of a solution for this, or another type of awareness bracelet that could be adjusted? I used to have an LGBT Pride one that I wore around my ankle, but I'm passing the age where that looks halfway decent, and I'd still like to be aware and supportive of various causes. :p

If ANYONE wants a IDEA there are plenty of places that you can MAKE YOUR OWN and so I have found a few sites that make them but they cost ... but if anyone does know where U can get them ... let me know as I would LOVE to be able to wear one for my hubby and ah few cousins of mine that have it !!!

if you go to google and just type in crohns awareness bracelet under the shop tab a few different options come up. good luck!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. Been taking a lookie around on different websites, not entirely sure which one I want but still. Might just even make my own with that phrase on it.. as I like it better then some of the others I've seen.. but thank you anyway :)

I ordered the silver charm bracelet that says Keep Calm and Fight On, to remind me on my bad days that this too shall pass.

An odd question however, is the colour for Crohn's awareness purple or red. I only ask because the NACC seem to be predominantly red? This may sound like an odd question but I'm wanting to start a blog - coinciding with May being C&C awareness month and wanted a catchy title possible top do with the colour. Thanks :)

I don't know which one it is per say... It seems to be predominantly purple but purple also symbolize other conditions (so does the red). Then on, I've always been confused on this aspect hhh!

I have seen most of the IBD stuff as purple. Each color is taken by a variety of causes. The only one that seems to have a monopoly is breast cancer over pink but everyone else has to share their color with other causes.

I think that the colour for IBD is purple, this is what Crohn’s and Colitis Research UK Desire for Life have on their FB site. Whether it is just these that are that colour I am not sure, like you say gracifer NACC is red.

the color for IBD is indeed purple but ccfa commonly uses dark blue

i found some black with purple ribbon@ amazon. com/dp/B01LZB49SH
i would prefer the old purple Got Guts bracelets but i have been unable to find them and this is the closest i have found.
