Hey there everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone here had crohns of the esophogas or stomach? I have been coughing alot lately and have been finding it really hard to swallow food :depressed: especially my pills ( have never had this prob b4). Also it has been causing me to vomit alot (the coughing) . I have been tying to drink ensure but they are so sickly (especially when vomited straight up lol). Anyway I am not sure if it is crohns but is getting increasingly worse as my crohns does too . It feels as of my throat is smaller and ulcerated. I went to doc and she thinks it's definately something to do with the esophagas not the lungs or a flu or anything.

Anyways thanks a bunch!!! Reading a lot of these entries has made me feel so much better about myself.. Gives hope!

Since I have been dx with crohns I suffer with alot of difficulty getting my food to pass when I swallow it also happens with pills. Sometimes it comes right back up or it will pass and stay down. I have to really slow down when I eat and also keep a glass of tepid water handy b/c if I try cold water it makes it worse.

for a short while, i was getting problems with my esophagus... it was mild pain. discomfort and tightness in my chest.

pre-crohn's diagnosis, i mentioned it to my doctor...she suggested it was from taking too many pills at once and swallowing them too fast (gulping).

i stopped doing that and it helped.

i also occasionally notice that food or liquid seems to sit on my chest. like i can feel it in the back of my throat too, like i'm about to bring it back up. that's if i eat too quickly i guess.
