Hello -

I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 11 years ago, but just found this site! So nice to find a place to talk to others going thru similar problems! Anyway, I've been on Asacol, Remicade, Humira and am currently only on Prednisone (which I HATE!!). I'm having an exam under anesthesia next week for diagnosis of a fistula & possible placement of a non-cutting seton and I'm really nervous about it. I'm hoping someone else out there can fill me in on what to expect as far as the procedure and recovery time. I'm so tired of being in pain, I'm really hoping this gives me some relief!

Thank you!!

Hey welcome to the forum. I can't help with your question but I'm sure you will get plenty of replies. Try the search feature also, people share a lot of good stuff. Good luck

Hi welcome

I have not experienced the information that you are looking for but there are people on the forum that have had similar experiences I am sure. Good luck next week and I hope it relieves your pain and symptoms.

Hi CP and welcome!

Ditto above, no experience personally, but there are tons of people on here with fistulae and setons. As Stinky suggested, try searching on "seton" or "fistula" and you'll get tons of results.

Good luck with the exam/procedure!
