3 years ago through Pillcam diagnosed as severe.
remicade for a year did great, but lost impact.
humira for a couple of months, but quickly developed Psoriasis that she never had before.
Methotrexate since (Psoriasis disappear), but shots are taking her down for a day or two.
Into a serious flare recently, Calprotectin 1933, MRI discovered a serious stricture of the terminal ileum, 8 cm long, with strong flare and ileum membrane of 1cm thick. surgery on the table.
They found also an artifact that nobody can explain. Attached a picture. It's not the pillcam and xray is clean.
Considering Stelara. Dr. wants to put her on a short Prednizone cycle. We are not sure. She is on Modulan diet for several weeks now.
Not sure what to do next.
She is an amazing kid.
