Dentist time...

Well wish me luck folks, I'm off to have this wisdom tooth pulled after 2.5 years of being up in there broken and annoying.

Dentist was a real pain in the butt. Made me get a CBC before he would see me! Thinks that Remicade will effect his dental work or something.

My nerves are pretty bad so they gave me a Xanax to take this morning. I took it about 10 mins ago so I"m hoping it calms me down. :ybatty:

well I am back. No pain yet really to speak of. The Xanax and Gas did nothing for me. I was alert the whole time and screaming. The Dentist said "Look, I can't have you screaming with patients in the next room. Please calm down"

But its all over with now... thx god.

They did give me some meds but i haven't taken any yet. I just woke up from a nap and its really starting to hurt lol. Ironic thing is, the tooth never hurt this bad before they took it out!

It's still bleeding too, I keep changing the gauze ever hour or so. I hope it stops by 4pm because my hubby is brining me home a frosty. (my first meal since 8pm last night.)

Hey Kittee... I just had mine done a month or two ago... I found that taking the gauze out stopped most of the pain.

I want to take it out but I'm bleeding still. =( Don't know if I should..

Better to make sure the bleeding stops before you keep it out. Though the gauze is also there to help stop infection and dryness too.
