I've been in alot of pain since 9pm yesterday so a good 12 hours !
I'm sure it was due to the peanuts I ate, I'm definitely not going to eat but I'm also scared to take my painkillers as I've had green vomit and now loads of watery D an I'm scared I may block my intestines or something.
It was bad pain but not enough for an ambulance, but enough to get my husband home from his night shift coz I was so scared.
Do I go to AanE today and wait all day an probably get sent home with my 2 kids in tow?
Or tough it out with painkillers till tommorow and phone my gastros sectretary or ibd nurse an tell them what's going on?
Is it safe for me to take painkillers ?
I can't take much more of this :(

Ring your out of hours gp service who will assess you and then see you today if necessary, and tret or admit as necessary.
Saves a long wait in a+e. Sounds like it may be a stomach bug, but if you ring them they will advise.

if your pain level is getting worse, or staying high, and you're continuing to vomit, i would definitely say go to A&E (try & get someone to have the kids for you).

if it's there but stabilising, i'd try sipping hot water and see if it helps at all.. if you had a little blockage due to the peanuts it might subside with the help of the hot water..

but only you know how you feel.. if you're feeling very unwell, like something's building up - go the A&E route.

I'd try your gp route to start with. My gp told me that as long as anything eg gas is coming out of my butt, they know I don't have a complete blockage and aren't overly concerned. Have you had pains similar to this before? I agree that if they get any worse then to contact a medical professional.
