Do you have new pains/symptoms with each flare?

How common is it to get different/new pain locations with each "flare"? I was diagnosed in 2010, unwillingly taking 6MP for a good amount of time, took myself off of them in 2012-2013, and I've been perfectly fine until last month, actually, after the colonoscopy on May 5, which was done to make sure everything was ok(mild inflammation in TI and right colon-microscopic and sigmoid diverticula. (I wondered if that triggered things since they took biopsies...) But I've never had left-side pain, only lower right quadrant pain. Now I have it all over the place :( . CT scan last week showed: 2 splenule/2 soft tissues extending from the spleen haha (how cute...in 2010 the CT showed 1 splenule), mild inflammation/enhancement in the TI, early beginning umbilical hernia with fat (!!! :eek2: ) and several lymph nodes near the TI. They had to repeat some of the images since the contrast was not going down, but that's what they found.

A) I have a hx of gallstones so I think that's causing the RUQ pain
B.) Not sure about the left mid-upper and left lower "aches"...it's sharper under the ribs on both sides.

Don't you wish you had an MRI scan at home lol...I'd be scanning myself all the time!!

I'm sorry to hear about your pains I was diagnosed back in 2012 with cd the last 2 years it has been uncontrolled I to am currently sitting here in hospital with a flare been here for 5 days now the answer to your question is yes this time I had no warning signs as such I have never experienced the pain I am at the moment they originally thought I had acute apendicities so they rushed me off to surgery to find that I have serve inflamation in the small bowel so yes pain and symptoms do change and as for the MRI I'm waiting to get one done to see how much damage there is so yep wish I had one at home

I wish there was some non-invasive way they could see inside of us to see what is going on.
