Doctors vent

Sorry just have to vent this morning!

Just got back from the docs, short story is ive been off work 5 weeks due to the probs with aza and 6mp and then getting pred which has kept me up most nights. I explained that I had been to the hospital for a review and that I was going onto MTX hopefully, my doctor said I dont know anything about this but are you still taking the AZA has my doctor ever listened to me ever?? So I asked could I have another note and I get the reply you look better do you realy need it, so i have been given a note again, but the problem I went in with is the blood that comes out my backside which could be hemos and the hospital said they my GP needs to do it, but after me telling my doctor went on and said that they will write to the hospital to get them to do it. I asked why it couldnt be done now and the long story was that I had made the doctor overun the morining clinc and to make another appt.

I dont know if it because im so tired im a bit touchy or do you thing GP dont have the time to care and listen anymore

Sound like the doctors in a grumpy mood and decided to take it out on you, Any self respecting doctor would care more about the care of their patient rather than the clinic over running.

Cheers Martin, Im just fed up but I find they are all mostly like that. I see your just down the road Hows Wigan!

It is annoying, but the clinics I go to often over run by atleast an hour because of the extra time docs spend with patients, but if it means better care i dont mind, however I've been really annoyed in the past when ive been on the receiving end of an appt that has lasted about 30 seconds after waiting for hours.
