Does actimel help/work

does actimel help/work

i saw this subject touched on another thread, and thought it deserved its own thread.
i have started drinking 1 bottle of actimel a day and feel yuk, but i dont know if thats becasue of the drink or something else, anyone got any comments?

Yeah, I knock back one a day (it's called Danactive here in Canada). Not sure if it helps, but I figure it can't hurt either. A bit on the expensive side, I just get it for convenience's sake. Being a liquid, it's easier to consume at work than pulling out a spoon and eating a container of semi-solid yogurt. Down the hatch it goes -- I don't really taste it, LOL.

Well, expensive relative to other yogurts...:smile:

You see all sorts of probiotic products on the shelves these days -- I guess probiotics is the latest buzzword. I just wonder how effective most of them are. I mean, are these going to be live bacteria in stuff like baked goods? I figure if these cultures are going to survive long enough to be of benefit, being suspended in something like yogurt is likely the best bet.
 
ours aint yoghurts, they are a drink, and come in tiny bottles, you dont need a spoon or anything
