Well first off I don't know if I'm posting this in the right spot but sorry if I am not lol.. well basicly if I have a bm what looks like to be seeping out into the water is dark red blood.. it doesn't seem to be on the paper or in the stools color (darker then normal usually but still brown) is it possible for blood to seep out and change the water to dark red or am I just over thinking it? Also been having a lot on cramping during the times I have seen this happen it's not the first time I've seen it as well and super nausea since it happened again the other day.. thanks in advance

I have been trying to get in contact with him today but he seems to be in surgery all day so I'll keep trying but has anyone ever related to this?

I think it would be blood and not changing the color of water. I have had blood come out along with my bm.

It looks like a cloud around the stool itself it's very strange I've had just full on blood before but it never looked like this

It does sound as if you're flaring. How long since you were diagnosed and what meds are you on ? It's very difficult to speculate about the blood. As with everything else relating to crohns/IBD,we all differ regarding symptoms etc. I've had blood in the bowl,so much of it that my B.M. cannot be seen at all.I think amounts of blood is different for all, depending on how bad the flare is at the time.Very dark blood is usually from higher up in the bowel, the small bowel.Red is usually from the large bowel,or it can be haemorrhoids.I hope this helps, and some one will be a long soon with a different aspect. We are all experts in our own IBD problems.Welcome to the forum,by the way.

Thanks for the support.. okay so basically I'm still undiagnosed unfortunately I've been going through this since I was a teenager (so much so that my grades were often bad due to missing so much school currently I'm 24) but I never really had as sever of problems until about 2 years ago I will admit that I was fairly over weight about 210 and being only 5"5 but then I seeming got worse and have since then lost a significantly large amount of weight I'm currently at 146 which could probably be the only plus side to any of this is losing that weight but besides the fact i am still undaignosed I've had a colonoscopy endoscopy with non specific inflammation in my colon and stomach also have Barret's esophagus I can't have CT scan or mre because I'm allergic to the contrast and it makes me sick when I drink them and my drs refuses to do pill cam endoscopy for reasons I'm unaware of I've asked repeatedly and still haven't received it.. I'm currently taking zofran for nausea(life saver if I didn't have this I wouldn't even be able to work) and vitamin d for it being low I also have asthma and take a pro air inhaler as needed and also a antacid medication panprzol or something along those lines. My blood work seems to come back pretty good in most aspects besides a few things but they say it's unrelated. Thanks again!

Please go back to your Doctor. As a norm.in the UK,a short course of steroids are prescribed to deal with it.Of course the blood may not be related to IBD,but it does need investigating.Don't take chances.

Let us know how you get on.It might be a good idea to list your symptoms and any questions you might want to ask.Doctors don't usually mind.

Yes, get in contact with your GI. Sounds like a consultation and maybe colonoscopy is in order. It sounds like me before I got diagnosed. Little bits of blood which later turned into more as my flare got worse. First step is to get yourself checked out.
