Does blood appear even when on remission?

Just found blood in stool, although I've been on remission for some time now. I'm thinking it's possibly because of something I ate recently. Has anyone else faced this?

It is not a good indicator alone to conclude anything.
Could depend on food you ate and /or if you are constipated.

Dont worry but i'd not hesitate to refer to your doctor as he may request further exams if he feel it's the case

I'm only speaking from my personal experiences but I was/am technically "in remission", yet I regularly have a little blood in stool. It's not very much at all, just enough for me to know it's there. I have very mucus-y stool too.

This is helpful thank you. I recently had an infection because of which I could see a lot of blood in stool. On a course of antibiotics for that now.
