Does your crohns act up when coming onto period?

I think I have noticed my Crohn's symptoms (direahha gets worse and upper stomach pain galore, and body aches) get worse a week before my period.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, this is very common, actually. Are your symptoms only worse just before your period, or does it continue through it as well?

no unfortunally it continues through it as well. and a week after it has ended. i ONLY jave a week feeling pretty good. my gi font get it..according to my blood work Im not flaring but always in so much pain.

Have you seen a GYN about this? It could be a gynecological issue such as endometriosis.

similar, and my doc told me not to try new foods the three days before and just after starting... used to find I got constipated before, not such an issue now!

I have been checked..don't have it. And this gas never happened...7 days late?? Neg preg test. Could it be from Imuran??

I had such bad flare ups during the week before and during my period that I went on a 21 day cycle of lo ogestral which eliminates periods entirely. Big relief if you are able/interested in birth control.
