I just don't get it sometimes.
I am unhappy with my current GI because he can't make up his mind. I was told I had Barrett's Esophagus, then told I didn't have it on the phone, then on my next visit was told again that I have it.
Needless to say, this indecisiveness has dampened my faith in his ability to correctly or confidently diagnosing my other issues.
I went back to my GP, who agrees with me and sent a referral to another GI for me. They called on a Thursday to get some info and said she would call me back in "a day or two" to tell me if the doctor would take me on as a patient.
4 business days later, I had not heard from them so called their office. I stayed on hold or in the queue for 45 minutes. The CLOSED the office while I was on hold!
I get a call 2 days later telling me that they will not see me as a patient since I had already been to a GI before.
What kind of shenanigans is that?
Now I'm back to square one on the referral and have to wait more time.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with such BS. I pray you're able to get into a fantastic GI soon!
