Does the fact that my body feels like it is draining indicate an abscess?

Hey- I am pretty new to Crohn's but my newly developed Crohn's resulted in an abscess. My symptoms were flu like symptoms. Fatigue fever body ache muscle aches.

Hi, In my humble opinion I think drainage and the fact stuff is actually coming out means that the dead white blood cells that cause an abscess to form cannot form because our body is expelling them. If you have a seton in place, that is usually to bring down the inflammation and stop and abscess from forming provided the surgeon has found all tracts.

When I had my initial abscess before my fistula formed I was boiling hot, very sleepy, dizzy and kept fainting and waking up on the floor in my bathroom. There would also be swelling and pain. hope this helps.

Wishing you well :)

Try using virgin coconut oil suppositories. You can make them yourself. They will help reduce your symptoms a lot, until you get it treated/healed
