Eating causes body pain

For years I've dealt with horrible stomach pains. I was finally diagnosed in March 2014 and started Prednisone and Apriso. After finishing the prednisone I was still not happy with how I felt (tired and weak) or how soft my poo was. Probiotics don't help so I decided to try adjusting my diet.

I'm still weak and tire easily. Especially if I go out on a warm day or work more than 15 minutes in the house. The really weird part is that if I eat something that doesn't agree with me I get horrible body pains. My arms and legs are the worst. Even if I get diarrhea from it, I don't get stomach cramps. But my body hurts so bad I can barely move at times. I had a little ice cream yesterday and was unable to move for several hours.

All my blood tests are normal, except my inflammation is a little high.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Ok, so I'm guessing this is not a common problem. Would you see your GI for something like this or your regular doctor? It seems GI because it happens when I eat, but I don't want to assume everything is Crohn's related either.

Your GI, hands down. You say it hurts. If there is pain and it is linked to food intake, than it's a job for your GI. I have heard that pain from Crohn's can "translate out" through the nervous system, I have myself never experienced it, but apparently this can occur.

P.S. I don't even have a regular doctor, I only have a GI as virtually any problem I come across is Crohn's related, except maybe jobs for my dentist ;). I hope you get better soon.
