Endocort and very bad leg ankle swelling?

So I spent a week in Hospital. They put me on Endocort and about day 5 I started feeling better. My legs started swelling but my feet and ankles were swollen when before I got there due to very low protein levels so they didn't say anything other then I need protein.. Well by black friday they were huge.. couldn't bend my knees or wear shoes.. think logs for legs.. I googled endocort and found that I had developed a toxciity to it. And all 3 web sites said stop taking it. I called my doc but they were closed. So I stopped taking it and 2 days later the swelling was going down and by day 4 off was gone totally. then on day 6 of no endocort the pain came raging back in my stomach.. and now I do not want to eat again.. which at my weight is not a good choice.. the endocort was helping but the side effects were awful. Anyone else have this reaction?
My crazy body tends to always get the worst side effects or react to drugs..
I am on Metheltrexate once a week ( not even sure if its helping) and I am waiting on Cimzia to hopefully be approved for free or close to it due to no insurance..

were you ever on 6MP and Pentasa.... my pains are gone 90% of the time and life is somewhat back to "normal"... I hate those new exotic meds.... expensive with side effects that are worse then the illness...:sorry:

I refuse to go on 6mp ever again.. ( awful side effects) and Pentasa has never been offered to me..
