I just wanted to update on Ryan. We are enjoying some good days right now. Man, I forgot how precious they are! Ryan is up to 106 lbs at 5'5". Still then, but looking very healthy. His last bloodwork was very good.

But even better than his weight and bloodwork, he is happy! He just started high school and loves it. He is marching in the band and absolutely loves music and his fellow band members. He got his driving permit, he's wanting to "hang out" with friends! I honestly haven't seen him SO happy in a long time. I am relishing every moment of this! He is having a "normal" moment and I love it! It can happen! :sun: :sun:

Oh my gosh I was seriously just fixin to pm you to see how things are. Maybe you are psychic? Maybe you should get your own reality show. Alabama Medium!

So glad to hear things are continuing on the upswing. Did you do the Remi level and antibodies test again?

:thumright:Oh I so glad thing are so good right now.:thumleft:

Oh:shifty-t: buy the way I WANT THAT PUPPY!

Maybe I should start a show! Ryan certainly thinks I can read minds... Been telling him that since he was little! My Grandmother was very psychic (intuitive probably)! Alabama Psychics certainly wouldn't be the craziest show out there! I just got a whiff of Honey Boo Boo last night!

We are having the blood drawn today for the remicade level test, so I should know in about a week about his levels. That's the cloud hanging over it all, but not looking for clouds right now!

Farmwife...Buddy Bear is a maltipoo. He was Ryan's request after his hospital stay this summer. He's been asking for his own puppy for years. Hubby finally gave in after Dr said it would help him with stress. He is 5 months old and a complete MESS! He lost 2 teeth today and celebrated with a big pile of cat poo :puke_r:. Note to self, never leave puppy unattended! :yfrown: He just got his teeth brushed!

I am going to TRY to put a pic of Ryan in his band uniform in my album.

So happy for you and Ryan!!! Sunny all around - NO CLOUDS!

Starting high school is so exciting and sounds like Ryan is having lots of fun (as is the puppy!)

Enjoy!

Fabulous news about your son. :thumleft: we got a puppy who is 3 months old for my daughter who is having GI issues, if it makes you feel any better we just found my older daughters glasses chewed up. Yep there goes at least $200. Dollars.:ymad::ymad:

Yes, poppets mum! Buddy's favorite toy seems to be shoes. He particular loves the Vibram toe shoes! Yikes! On the bright side though, Buddy really perks things up around here and he absolutely adores Ryan! That makes Ryan feel fantastic!

Tesscom, Ryan is a completely new person! He is so outgoing and peppy! He's dancing in the stands at the ball games! I just love watching him come out of his shell!

:redface:Ohhh please don't mention the words Honey Boo Boo, they actually live about 25 minutes from us! I have only seen the previews but Oh My! It seems like a train wreck!!!:awe:

So glad to hear that Ryan is happy and all his results are looking good! Long may it continue!!

Yeah for Ryan! I think that will be one of my prayers today that all our children are "Enjoying the Good Days" and we parents only have to worry about the "normal stuff" Thankfully I have a couple of years before driving permit to worry, although here they can get their permit at 14 1/2 YIKES!

It is about a little girl and her family I think the girl may have originally been on that show toddlers and tiarras, anyway, I think from there the network that does toddlers and tiarras offered this family a show. I've only seen the previews but that alone was enough! I'm not in town much but apparently they are all over town, supposedly with a body guard.:ywow: I think it is definitely one of those America's Finest shows!:D

Jmckinley,
Our dogs name is also Buddy. He is a Bichon Frise. What kind of dog is yours he looks so cute? Speaking of Honey Boo Boo my husband saw something online about her tonight he had never heard of her of course my girls knew all about her as they love toddlers and tiaras. I cannot believe they actually made a show about her. Glad Ryan is doing well! Hope the good days continue!

Buddy is a maltipoo (daddy-maltese/mommy chocolate poodle). I bet his hair is alot like a bichon...no shedding, very smart! :thumright:

Thanks for the happy words Ladies! It is so great to share the good days with you. You are the only ones who can possibly understand how WONDERFUL they really are! I am chaperoning the band on an away game tomorrow night...more fun to come!

We had the blood drawn for the new HACA/remicade test today. The technician actually did the draw at Ryan's school and sent it to Prometheus. Hopefully, results by next week...and hopefully, the antibodies aren't getting worse. Good days...good days...get back in the bubble, right? No need to worry until there's a need to worry!

Ooh, Clash...you're so lucky! Yes, I'd say Honey Boo Boo is an American train wreck...last night, the mom and kids went to the bingo parlor and spent their money on games hoping to win the $1000 prize so they could pay for the next pageant...now there's some common sense for ya!:eek2:

OK thanks to poppets mum, I'm going to have to look up Homey Boo Boo.:eek2:
Anything that warrants three throw up smiley faces needs further investigation.:rof:
I'll have to update on Much Ado.
