Entocourt and weight gain

I have been on entocourt for about 2 months and have gained 6kgs!!! I am fairly big anyway nad can not afford to put on more weight, has anyone else had this happen to them? I am one of the lucky "crohns peeps" i do not get alot of diahorreah etc and have not lost weight etc BUT am gaining far to much and my specialist doenst seeem to care :-( :depressed: :depressed:

Aimee- Don't feel bad. You are NOT alone. There are many of us here that are overweight hehe.

It's tough to have a disease most people consider as a "make you skinny" disease and be plump.

Hi Aimee,
I have been on Entocort for about 4months now. I have not experienced any weight gain with it. I agree with what Pen said, when we feel better we tend to eat more. I have been doing good for a while now, but still can't eat alot (I try and pay for it) because food just sits really heavy for me no matter what I eat. I wish I could though, I would like to put on about 10lbs.

thanks everyone i just "thought" i was the only one with the weight gain LOL as you do when something gets you down!!!! I have started today on a VERY strict diet LOL like no JUNK food whatsoever in an attempt to get this weight down. I am also going back to the gym. I am hoping htis will help. I havent been eating naythign different though to casue this gain :-( hoping it will all just melt of at gym hahahahahah

I'm on Entocort too and have put on a bit of weight. For me it's really cyclical -- I'm either 10 lbs over or 10 lbs under, it seems.
