The gall bladder is responsible for bile production which contains many of the digestive enzymes we use to break down food. When you have trouble digesting / absorbing a food it can cause symptoms.

One of the symptoms I get when I eat something I can't digest is backup of bile into my stomach, nausea, vomiting, and feeling extremely thirsty / dehydrated, I'm assuming due to the intestines pulling water into them to flush out the source or because the irritated lining stops absorbing it. Either way, I believe it's a food related reaction.

What have you eating in the past 16 hours?

Look into NOW foods super enzymes. It contain Pancreatin and Ox Bile to help replace the lost enzymes.
