Extreme pain in pelvic area....Help!!

Hi all~~

So for the past few days I've had a pain in the area directly above my thigh (like diagonal right from my belly button).
With intercourse today, this pain became so terrible I could hardly move. It spread to both sides of my body, down to my vaginal area and then to my behind...
I've not experienced pain like this before, and I'm wondering if it could be due to any Crohn's inflammation? Has anyone else experienced this before or know any additional problems I could be having?

No I've never had that before. I'd get it checked out and see your GYN and mention it to your GI as well. Crohn's can cause all sorts of other issues and we aren't immune to any other problems it could be either (there are honestly so many possibilities, that's why seeing more than one doc should help you get quicker answers and treatment).

I don't know if this is the same area or not. Several years ago, I had pain in the lower right abdomen (kind of in the leg crease). It was painful during sex, anytime I lifted my right leg, during bowel movements, etc. I ended up being diagnosed by my GYN as having an endometrioma on my right ovary. Due to complications, my right ovary was removed in 2009. I am also on Lupron injections every 3 months. This puts your body in a menopause-type state so you don't have periods. This has helped with my endometriosis and Crohns. My Crohns would always get worse with my periods. This drug has helped tremendously. Since the removal of my right ovary, I have not had any more of that type pain. Hope this helps.
