Hey guys!

As some of you know I've been having problems with a corneal ulcer in my right eye. Well, I just got back from the specialist and now have to wear a contact for a month to try and keep the moisture in my eye so I can heal the divot that's formed from the ulcer. My cornea is thinning and my doctor is trying hard to keep it from perforating. So, the infection's gone (yay!!) but it looks like I have a ways to go for full recovery yet. I'm at 11 weeks and counting....sigh

Hope everyone else is doing well! Besides the eye, I'm doing great...Oscar's been behaving himself for a change...lol

Best of luck with the healing. I can imagine the stress level that you feel. Take care Bob E.

:ybatty: Darn it, Cindy! Sorry bout your eye. Bet the healing lens will do the trick, tho. It needs moisture for sure for protection. There are vitamin supplements that you can get for eye health--wonder if they would help? Take care!:sun: Snap

Very interesting David! My neighbour David with Crohns has an eye ulcer....off to tell him about this!

Thanks for posting that David...I did have all my levels checked, and my vitamin A is fine. My ophthalmologist says that my ulcer is due to rosacea. It unfortunately is still taking it's damn sweet time healing, but at my last visit, the doctor finally saw some scarring happening, so that's a good sign. It still looks like hell, and feels like hell, but I guess it's getting better....8 months and counting...sheesh....
