Face spotting/hyperpigmentation

Anyone experience a horrible rash or spotting of discoloration on your face? It left dark pigmentation all over my lower face/neck and it looks really bad. Its been there for months now and my Dermatologist and GI dont know how to get rid of it. I knows its from the Chrons though, they think its some sort of inflamation causing it but they dont know for sure. Very frustrating.

I have a little bit of uneven pigmentation on one of my arms (sounds like what you're describing - I think it's the same thing). I assumed it was something genetic, though; my mom has it on her face. There are lotions and such that are supposed to help with it, but I don't know the names of any off the top of my head, or how effective they really are.
