Does anyone know if a raised faecal calprotectin result can indicate something other than Crohns? My levels have twice come back high (my consultant said that the first test was so high they thought it was a lab error to start with) but the barium, colonoscopy and endoscopy have all come back clear. Just wondering if the raised levels could indicate something that wouldn't be picked up on these other tests? Am having a pill camera in two weeks time but am wondering what the next step will be if this too comes back clear?
