I know this may sound weird to some. However, I actually farted a real fart with air. I had surgery May 18th and haven't been able to fart since, because i would have pooped myself. Me and my husband were actually giving each other high fives! Just my little giggle for the day:ybiggrin:

:mbh::mbh:

GOOD FOR YOU!!! YIPPEE!!!

If Roo is any indication, there will be many, many more to come.:ylol2:

I too have experienced the pure joy of being able to let out a great fart with no little surprises after months of not being able to do so. It is heaven, absolute heaven. I love to fart. I find it extra rewarding when smell so bad my husband just says OH MY GOD! :)

yeahhhhhhh!!!!! lol Good news.
I actually went for months with this problem because I was having a major flair. I guess when its mild you can fart but when you can't, you may have moderate to heavy flaring.
Again, great!!! lol

That's great news. I read a novel recently that had a character named Fred the Fire Farter and I really identified with the guy. Good wind is awesome!

I can see you all in the Blazing Saddles campfire scene:). Eatin' beans and fartin' :ylol:!!!

AAHH Farts...you gotta love them. My mom farted the other day and when I commented on the smell, she ignored me. Then she got a whiff and had to leave the room. I still wonder if it was just a fart..........I guess I'll never know.

I'm glad your farts are working properly. It's the little things in life that count.

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! I know exactly how you feel!
Haha - I made the same exact thread the first time I farted after starting Humira. I knew remission was within reach when that happened.
Once you can trust your farts again, good things are on their way!
CONGRATS ON YOUR FART!!

Totally jealous but so happy for you!

I am still in the "never trust a fart" club!

I hope you have many more successful farts coming your way!

yea i have periods where i couldn't trust my gas cause i'd have an accident, i hate it. but nothing feels better than a good stinker haha :stinks:

Oh I've definitely been there.. it's the joy of knowing you're on the road to recovery. For me the one that comes after that is the joy of going to bed and finding I DON'T have a bloated stomach and a whole bunch of trapped gas I can't let go.

This is, indeed, great news. Like Amy, I wish you continued success in all of your farting endeavors.

There have been a few times, when through some miracle, I actually pass wind without liquid. I've had two distinct days (never back to back) where farting became quite an enjoyable menace. My girlfriend loves farts too. When I fart, and we're together, we both look at each other with great surprise. Call it a moment to be shared.
