Fasting and meds

Has anyone done extended water fasts (more than 3 days)? Do you take your meds? I'm currently on 150 mg Imuran and Humira every other week and am at day 6 fasting. I'm sure my doctor would tell me never to stop meds, but if my digestive system is dormant due to the fast, are meds necessary? Do the meds also suppress healing that might take place?
