What's your favourite chocolate bar?

Mars, or 3 Musketeers...yummy!!

Milkyway, second would be Snickers, third Butterfinger...ok now I want chocolate for sure!

All of the above... in fact, anything that hasn't got currants or raisins in it!

We have Double Decker bars here... there both squodgy and crunchy at the same time, but I had to stop eating them as I was putting on too much weight

Good old Hersey bar. Well maybe a Mallo cup. Or even a reeses Peanut Butter Cup. Or was it a Butterfinger. No has to be a Kit Kat. Oh forget it, I like'em all.

Yes Steve
Double Deckers rock!

love Twix, bite the caramel off first, then dunk in tea-scrumdiddlyumptious!

cadbury's creme eggs
milk chocolate bounty
green & blacks milk chocolate
crunchie
tunnocks chocolate covered mallows
kitkat
frys chocolate cream

Mmmmm... I'm not too picky when it comes to chocolate. I will eat just about any candy bar as long as it isn't plain milk chocolate.
My faves are Skor or Heath (which are crunchy toffee covered with choc.) and Take 5 (pretzels, caramel, peanut butter and choc), Snickers, Reese's, Baby Ruth, really anything with junk in it. I like dark chocolate the best.

Used to like Mars a lot; but now with my restricted sugar diet, I'm limiting myself to a little Lindt dark 85% cocoa

Bars, can't possibly choose between:
Twirl, Cherry Ripe and Violet Crumble

Plain Chocolate:
Lindt

OH man...as I read everyone's posts I kept changing my mind which was my favorite. I'll go with my initial thought:

Caramello by Cadbury

And then I love Milky Way, Twix (did anyone ever have a cookies n cream Twix? I remember having one when I was younger and it was DELICIOUS!), Reese's peanut butter cups, and Kit Kat!

I am such a peanut butter fiend so I like a lot of peanut butter with my chocolate! I love reese cups (especially white chocolate) and butterfingers, butterfinger crisps are also very yummy!

ALL THE ABOVE :) I will add that in order to not feel guilty I reach for the dark...since it is so good for you and all :) :)

Chocolate!!!! Thanks guys, I just read this whole thing and there isn't a smidgen of chocolate in the house... I'm on one of my fitness fads right now, but I might have to cheat and go get a Mounds bar (dark chocolate over coconut)...

:eek:utahere:

hehehe

Fry's Turkish Delight is my absolute favourite. yum! My husband, son and daughter don't like it which is even better because then I don't have to share.

chocolate medicine...

Fun thread Cindy, thanks!

I would run INTO a burning building, while everyone else was running OUT,
if you told me... there might be a KitKat bar in there!

Don't tell anyone, as that's how rumours get started...
be well,
Walt

ps at one low point, when all these pills didn't seem to be working...
I threatened to quit them and prescribe mini-KitKat bars for myself.
Not exactly a proven therapy, I said, but at least I know what they DO!
grrrrrr

Coffee Crisp, Santa always put the giant sized bar in my stocking at Christmas..mmm.
I had completely forgotten about Turkish Delight until you mentioned them Dallies - I don't know if you can even buy them anymore in Canada which is okay with me!!

Yep, we still have them, seems I'm the only one who loves them - right I am off to eat chocolate now.

OMG I haven't had chocolate in so long but I would still have to say M&M's are #1. Kit Kat and Reese's peanut butter cups come in second close to Snicker's

Use to be Reese's & Snickers, but since I cut nuts out of my diet I can't eat them anymore (also can't eat anything with nougat). :(

So, now I try to stick to either Twix or Hershey's Cookie's & Creme...

I miss White Chocolate Crunch (can't find it where I live).

double decker best bar of chocolate in the world fact...Special mention to lion bars's and milkybar's

I'm temporarily paralyzed after reading these and won't be at ease until I'm in a chocolate coma!!

Listed in no specific order to spare my local convenience store a potential hold-up............

-Peanut Butter M&M's
-Butterfingers (crisps too, depending on my mood)
-Hersheys & Cream
-Reeses Pieces (cups are a close second--esp. white chocolate)
-White Chocolate Kit-Kats
-100 grand bars
- Peanut Butter Twix (before the dark cookie bottom layer ruined it)

may favorite is a good ol' hersheys bar dipped in peanut butter....mmm, cant get enough.

ive got a big bad of hershey kisses right now staring me in the face..

Ohhh.. chooocolaaatee.. mmmmmm
I love all kinds of chocolate! the first one coming to mind today though - Turtle cheesecake with a layer of chocolate, thin layer of caramel, nuts and chocolate morsels on top, with the dark cookie crumb bottom.. OH OH OH OH OH.. Now: Only if this came in a bar.. (ah) it would so be my favorite chocolate bar..

I can't go past Haighs Chocolates especially their Rocky Road and dark peppermint chocolates (made in Adelaide, available at stores in most major Australian cities, or by courier)

This may be a bad thing as I go past the factory at least once a week, and my daily bus leaves from one of their city shops..

The other one is Arnott's Tim Tams which are massive in Australia but while available in the US & CA don't seem to be too popular, and are similar to the UK's "Penguin" biscuits. To quote wikipedia: A Tim Tam is composed of two layers of chocolate malted biscuit, separated by a light chocolate cream filling, and coated in a thin layer of textured chocolate. but there are lots of flavour varieties now too

Edit: the "Australian" Rocky Road seems to be a mix of the US/UK versions, this one is: Cubes of light vanilla marshmallow mixed with cherries, raisins and roasted hazelnuts and coated in dark or light chocolate.

The further away you guys are, the less likely it seems I'll know what the heck your choice even is, especially AU and UK. I even don't recognize some of the US choices, has to be regional.

Pay Day (has no Chocolate) has a great taste and protein content (for a candy bar) so it's tied with Snickers, Take 5 and Reese's Fastbreak...oh, and Hershey's Symphony (toffee and almonds, high protein too).

But I really don't have problems with most candy bars, Butterfinger, Twix, Kit Kat, regular Reese's, Hershey's Cookies and Creme, Baby Ruth, etc...

The ones that are weaker to me due to either what I consider blandness, texture or whatnot are 3 Musketeers (sorry Cindy , not much to it) and Milky Way (too soft and bland) and some others. I'll still eat them, it's not that I dislike them. What I refuse to eat is anything with coconut, dark chocolate and fruit (fruit and chocolate is like Frosting and Nacho Cheese! Hey, I got an idea for two great things mixed; No...)...And raisins? Those are just gross. :stinks: Grapes are fine when hydrated.

Guys I've been on a hugely unhealthy KitKat kick...
A halloween bag a week. It's okay, chocolate doesn't bother my stomach, and I'm also on Lactaid pills - but I know that is just too much.
Still, what a good chocolate bar! Haha.

Snickers is the best. Without a doubt. Twix and reeses are delish as well. Ahh, haven't had any of those in a long time :(

Green and Blacks organic choco bars are the best imo....and Im partial to the almond...but now Im on a low res diet ...boo...so no almonds for me...but i love the choco its great...

I tried something today called a Double Decker. I ate it in the car driving to work. Wow, it was amazing!!! Chocolaty, crispy, creamy, toffee-ish.

Went right through me and I made it to the bathroom just in time. But damn, it was so worth it!!!!

Costas

Oh my lol this was not a thread to read when there is no chocolate in my home at the moment :( Mmm chocolate...the closest thing today was the hot fudge on the small scoop of vanilla ice cream from haagen daz earlier when I went to the mall to kill some time.
I dont even know what my favorite kind is aahhh there are so many I enjoy!
