I have never posted on a forum before, but I am hoping to connect with people who are going through the same symptoms as myself...I have recently weaned myself off Chrons Medications that I have been on for a long time. Since I stopped taking Humira, I have been having an embarassing problem of belching and not being able to stop. I have a very bad taste in my mouth, vomit in the mornings, and seem to belch almost all day long, especially after I eat. Also, I have been extremely dizzy on and off for the last couple of months, and have been told my blood pressure is very low. Can anyone explain to me what might be going on? Thank you!!!

Hi Chocolategoddess and welcome to the forum. You have come to a very loving and supportive forum. There is something for every CD sufferer here. I am always amazed at the threads and terrific responses.

I belch a lot in the evening. That is usually when I suffer the most nausea. I don't vomit, but I do fight the nausea whether on my own or with anti-nausea pills. I think the belching comes from swallowing air. I've noticed that when I'm going through a spell of nausea, I do breath in a lot more.

Welcome to the forum!

Hi welcome :)

I would go to your doctor because you can be starting to get the inflammation back if you are vomiting. I was not too concerned when you wrote belching but the vomiting is not good. I hope you start to feel well soon

Hi Chocolate and welcome!

I agree with Jenn, if you are vomiting, that is never a good sign. It means something is wrong, plus you can really do a lot of damage to your esophogus and teeth with all that throwing up. If you are belching and vomiting, is it possible that you have really bad acid reflux or even an ulcer?

I really do suggest that you get it checked out right away!

Curious what meds you were on and why you stopped taking them, and if you weaned on your own or under the supervision of a doctor. This could be related to the problems you are now experiencing.

Please pop back in and let us know if you have seen a doc and how you are doing.

Hi Chocolate- love the name! I agree with the others - see your doc. Do you have Crohn's? Why did you stop taking your meds? Not a good idea - you don't want Crohn's inflamation growing uncontolled.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi Chocolate
and welcome

I agree with the others, get to the doc
We've all been down that great big river D-Nile, I was one of them, but it didn't take long before I hit the deck.
I didn't take my meds neither, a) cos I'm stupid and b) cos I thought I knew better.
Believe me when I say, you do NOT wanna be blocked!
Do yourself and your guts a favour, get it checked, asap.
Enjoy the forum!
lotsa luv
