my story starts at what should be a very happy occasion 15 years ago when i gave birth to a healthy baby girl but i had tore my bowel so badly that i needed a colostomy and major bowel repair my colostomy was reversed and i thought that was that i have suffered very badly with my tummy since then even having a muscle taken from my leg to make an artificial sphincter i have had an ileiostomy and also was lucky to have that reversed i have had alot of surgery over the years and now find myself having even more trouble with my tummy i given a CT scan last year and they discovered i had a hernia and some nasty adhesions which they managed to sort and i really thought that may solve my problems but no im still in alot of pain and still going to the loo more than i would like to some daydays as much as 10+ times i have bleeding, loss of appetite and vomiting im tired all the time and thoroughly fed up the doctor thinks its crohns but most of my tests have come back fine yesterday i had a MRI and i am still waiting for the results i don't know what else it could be im not sure im strong enough to cope with crohns

Hi mumofthree,

you have put up with a lot for a long time. I know this is a very difficult disease to get a diagnosis for, so hang on in there. I know at one of my scopes they could see the ulcers, they took biopsies but they came back negative. Docs said they were not surprised, I presume this was because I had been on Entocort for quite a few weeks.

All I can say is try and stay positive, and if you ever need a comforting ear, there is always somebody here to listen.

Thanks Tobyjug
i have had biopsys come back positive for inflammation but they can't find where it is so alto rides on the Mri results
