I just thought i'd share my experience.
I've been going to see a reflexologist for weekly appointments, and thanks to her, i am finally pain free. If this keeps up, i'll be swearing off drugs! I'd recommend it to anyone!

hi Julz :) is this Crohn's (stomach) pain you're talking about, or other pains like joints etc..?

i've never had reflexology, but i'm always interested in alternative treatments that have proven to help people.

really glad to hear you're feeling better!

Awesome, Julz!!

There is alot to be said for reflexology and alternative/holistic approaches... used in combination with proper medical treatment. :)

Since Julz has brought it up, I will mention (I started looking into reflexology and bought a few books) that through reading, I found that the "nerve" (or reflex point) that affects the intestine is located in the arch of the left foot (hard to pinpoint it to you exactly without pics..lol..sorry) - and I find that if I am having a bad "tummy" day, if I can get my hubby to rub that part of my foot until he can feel the muscles/tendons relax and release, it does often feel better after.... It does help some if you can rub it yourseolf...but so much nicer if you can get someone else to do it...lol.

Of course, it might just be the comfort of having a good foot rub... but maybe makes one think about WHY a foot rub does feel so good!!

*again*
*off to sit on couch, watch Daily Show, and keep rubbing foot*
