This coming Monday, the 31st, I have an appointment with a new GI!!!
I am going to tell him everything that's been going on, and I am going to tell him how much I am affected by this and that it has to change, or I will lose my daughter. :( (I can't raise my daughter, get her to therapy and also sit on the toilet all day long or be blitzed out of muscle relaxers and morphine while she's around.)

I don't think people realize how close I am to having a total breakdown over this flare up that has been the longest I've had so far. It's been three weeks, one short round of prednisone, two rounds of antibiotics and tons of other medications with no change.

So this appointment is amazing!!! I was so happy about it, I actually did some work on my wedding today!! (if you're interested in it, our first dance will be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKfDwChOoHI it took me WEEKS to pick this song!!)

Oh sweety, you're story is very very sad. I really really wish you the very best of luck with your new GI, heaven knows you sure deserve something good after all you've been through, it sounds like nightmare chick. :(

I really hope it goes as well as it could possibly go for you.

Please post up how you get on

Big hugs and love

You might be able to get assistance to help out with your daughter. I hope it works out for you, she needs you the most!

Well, I saw the new GI today.
He is... interesting...
In the hour and a half I was there, he saw over nine patients in a round robin method. One in the office, one in the exam room, one in the waiting room.
I have a colonoscopy set for the 11th of February, and another annoying moment of "I don't think it's Crohn's, but we'll see."
I'm sick of being told that it's not Crohn's, and then being told it is, then it's not, then it is. Make up your mind guys!!!
Anyway, he was very nice, and wants to treat this sooner than later, so that's good at least.
I don't know what'll happen on the 11th, but we'll see. :)

Good luck - hang in there! I hate when doctors make comments like that - so not helpful, but good that he wants to get you better. Let us know what happens.

Beth
