A few days ago my daughter started to get blisters on her fingers but with no fluid in them..The skin is rough and has been peeling. Its mainly on the thumb and middle finger. We trimmed the skin back earlier but more keep showing up.
She recently started imuran.
We are going to the DR tomorrow . Has anyone got any idea what this could be.

I'm on Imuran for 2 months now and my crohns is begining to get better. I don't have any side effects that I know of. I hope that everything goes well for your dauther.

Note: I was 61 years old when i found out I have crohns and was mad because I just retired, but I don't think that was anymore at all after joining this forum and seeing that ALOT of young kids have it and that breaks my heart. They may not find a cure for crohns in my lifetime but I pray they do for all the kids that have it. I would give my life to take crohns away from the kids. It's not fair.

I will get the same type of thing if I get eczema on my hands. It's annoying but it goes away after awhile

Ive been getting smooth lumps on the joints of my fingers . My wife noticed them and I had no itching or pain in them . They eventually disapeared in about two months just leaving a featureless patch on my joints . I have have more uncomfortable limps under my arms and on my stomach and they too had no explanation for there appearance. I put all of these down to IBD manifestations . I didnt have them before I had this .

This is what her fingers look like it started on the thumb and middle finger and now is spreading to all the fingers. We trim the skin and in a few hours more blisters keep appearing.

Yep that would be what DS's look like as well
only between his fingers and now spread to the palm of his hand
so far has happened three times
We see a new dermo on WEd
I will update then

Thanks MLP

I sent some photos to my daughters nurse i'm still waiting to hear from her.
In the meantime they are spreading despite using the ointment the DR gave her.

The nurse sent me an e-mail and said the dermatologist said its not drug related and to get a blood test for streptococcus.

Her hands are getting worse and now she has a red rash on her thighs..I've just spoken to the nurse and they want to see her tomorrow.

We are no closer to an answer. The dermatologist thinks it might be from the flu she had 2 weeks ago. She said all the skin on her hands and feet will peel off. They did a blood test to check for streptococcus.

My husband's getting something similar, only on the palms of his hands. Hid doctor is having him use an anti fungal spray.

My dad had that when he was getting chemotherapy. The Dr. didn't seem surprised that it was a side effect. I know that 6mp is a chemotherapy drug so maybe same reaction?
