First Remicade infusion tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day..DS has his first Remicade infusion! I go back and forth between excitement and despair. Thankfully it's about 70% excitement LOL! Please send positive thoughts/vibes/prayers our way. And thanks, as always, for being here!

Good luck! Make sure he is well hydrated so that it's easier to find his veins. My daughter usually takes a book but they have TVs for the kids and games. She loves the chance to relax and miss school!

Fingers crossed ! Hope Remicade does the magic. I believe you have a good reason for being hopefull - AFAIK Remicade shows the best performance among all CD treatments.

It went great!! No reaction this time so I'm hopeful he'll do well next time too. I have to say, I'm cautiously optimistic. Last night was the first night in a long time that he didn't have a low-grade fever and I asked how he's feeling and he said he has less cramping!!! Hoping and praying this continues !
