Hi guys,
After a BM I get about 5 minutes of intense itch pain. Any advice for instant relief?
Preparation H?
Coconut oil?
Aquaphor?
Cannabinoid topical?
(I am resistant/immune to lidocaine)

Thanks.:)

Try cleaning the area with mouthwash applied to a piece of paper towel. Alcohol based mouthwash works the best.

Interesting, thanks. Not bad for an open wound? Although there IS already fecal matter in it. LOL

Mish, I am right there with you. I have been dealing with this for nearly 3 months and today has probably been the worst day. I have tried the Hemorrhoid wipes, creams, etc, I have tried suppositories, and lidocaine. AND sitz baths...Relief seems to be no where in sight and the pain is SOOOOO INTENSE.

I have a steroid lotion that was originally purchased for psoriasis. The hemorrhoids and eventual fissures have been going on for 15 years. I apply this lotion with a cotton swab and while it burns on the initial swabbing it really helps and if you can swab often enough it seems to even help close the fissure up....for a time.

Nappy rash cream - Sudacrem works for me. You can get it in discreet small pots/tubes as well as larger ones.

I've recently discovered Ultraproct ointment, so far the only thing that works!

Also applying something like sudacream before you go helps a little but not nearly as much as the ultraproct cream.

In case it's called something else where you are, it contains fluorcortolone pivalate, flourcortolone hexanoate and cinchocaine hydrochloride.

HTH
