Flare on remicade

Hello,
So I'm not too sure if I'm flaring or not. I have a couple symptoms that I had from before I was in remission and it's freaking me out. Nothing too bad or anything, but it's been happening for like a week. I take remicade and it's been working for almost 6 years now, and I'm hoping that it keeps working for awhile. I have had no flare in 6 years, I usually forget I have crohns until my infusion. If I have a flare does that mean I can't take remicade anymore? Has this happens to anyone? Any advice?

If you think you are starting or having a flare, you should consult with your GI doctor to let them know what is going on. You may need to adjust your dosage and/or frequency of infusions. Hopefully it is just a passing bug or a little 'blip' on the radar and things calm down again for you. I myself go through some ups and downs, but nothing that usually warrants a call to the GI - but I have had a couple of times where I have had to put a call in to get checked. So far though, clean scopes!
