Lets be real, flares stink- everything about them. I'm gonna list the reasons, please feel free to add your personal reasons why you hate them

1. you need to see a doctor but somehow you always hear "he is booked through the end of the month"- and secretly you think some terrible thing about how if they knew what 3 more weeks of feeling like this would do to you then they would care

2. you don't have the right food in the house- I don't normally keep tons of strawberry insure and baby food in the fridge (I'm 23 and childless) so on top of wanting to curl up in a ball and die I have to go to the store so I don't actually die of malnutrition

3. everyone asks if you have gotten better yet- no I don't have the stomach flu, I have a debilitating disease yet somehow they expect me to go from barfing at work one day to fine the next, ignorance.

4. the stay home from work question- if I go home I have to tell my boss that I'm really sick AGAIN, or I can just be miserable at my desk all day

5. cleaning- you know very soon you might be unable to get out of bed so the need to clean your bathroom before you are unable to pushes you past what you should be able to do

6. PAIN- you don't have any pain meds cause you were fine so you never thought you would need some, but you can't get any new prescriptions till your doctor appointment, which is forever away (see reason I hate flares #1)

7. as soon as you are out of the bathroom you think about going back in- I have slept on my bathroom floor before, don't worry I had already completed #5 by that point

8. its always before something important- no lie I'm going to NASA next week for some summer work, but at this rate I'm just gonna see how nice the bathrooms are at JPL.

Ok well thanks for reading, feel free to add, just needed to laugh at my frustrations for a second

I'm sorry you are not feeling good. Your comment about baby food kinda hits home with me... Im 35 no kids, but I have a few jars in the kitchen!!! its always funny when friends come over and they go to grab a snack. I love to ask them... "you want carrots, or chicken and rice?" lol
