Hi all
Im still pretty new to all this, as I only got diagnosed at the beginning of this year.
I was just wondering do we fall into the group of people needing a flu jab?
It says this on the website;
The flu vaccine is offered free to anyone over the age of six months if they have any of the following medical conditions:
•chronic (long-term) respiratory disease, such as severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchitis
•chronic heart disease, such as heart failure
•chronic kidney disease
•chronic liver disease, such as hepatitis
•chronic neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's disease or motor neurone disease
•diabetes
•problems with your spleen – for example, sickle cell disease, or if you have had your spleen removed
•a weakened immune system due to conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or as a result of having treatment that suppresses the immune system, such as chemotherapy
I dont think I fall into any of these catagorys but I was just wondering
