FMT Treatment

I'm new as of right now! I have some type of IBS although I haven't been diagnosed yet. My daughter-in-law has Crohns. I want to know if anyone reading this has had any FMT's and if so, what was the outcome? Thanks!

yes I have!!
It's experimental and difficult to do, but i had partial success and gained 15 pounds and im now a normal weight for first time in about 6 years since being diagnosed, stools are slightly healthier but many symptoms of crohn's still remain, i would do it again in a heartbeat its tough to find a donor though. Essentially you are trying to replace bacteria you have somehow lost for me i developed crohn's after antibiotics. many more details about this of course, follow the link below to learn more!!

Thanks wildbill. Very interesting info. Hope you can figure out a way to find another donor. I am also hoping my daughter in law will consider searching this treatment out. I am having some success with my own problem, I hope. It's a bit soon to know for sure, but I have had quite a turn around the last few days and the only change I've made is I stopped drinking wine! I am also in my third week of trying to stick to the FODMAP diet. Difficult diet in some ways because there are so many variables.
